The #24ICSB will be hosting a meeting of the Cave Invertebrate Specialist Group of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN-CSIG), on Tuesday, 21 August 2018, after the scientific presentations. The IUCN-CISG is a global network of experts in invertebrate zoology, karst and subterranean cave system biodiversity, cave fauna conservation and speleology interested in exploration and conservation of these extraordinary species. Call for workshops

Call for workshops   We seek proposals for pre-conference workshops to be held in the 24th  International Conference on Subterranean Biology at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. Workshops will be exciting parts of ICSB meetings as they offer great opportunities to disseminate and learn about cutting-edge topics in subterranean sciences. Workshops can be either in the form of a full or half-day and ideally would offer conference attendees opportunities to expand their knowledge in specific applications, topics, and opportunities for networking. ISSB Travel Grants for young researchers
